Breast Cancer Awareness Month

We encourage all attendees to wear something pink.

Stacy Alonso will be speaking in this meeting and is a 14 year survivor.

Gayle is going through her 4th case and has a message for all of us:

This message is so appropriate for me to post. I am now going through my fourth case of breast cancer. I have had 16 surgeries, and been fighting this since 1987, my first occurence. I have had chemo infusion, chemo pills, radiation, broken ribs etc.

And I keep fighting. The key is to never give up. For those of you who have not experienced this, it is so important for you to get your mammograms or thermal imaging. Don’t put it off because you have heard it hurts, or you are not a candidate for it. Every woman is, and you need to pay attention to your health. You are in charge, no one else.

I don’t want to scare anyone, but I do want you to be diligent in your healthcare.
And I will keep fighting. Olivia Newton-John and I have that in common.
